Budget 1100-1200

I got about a budget of 1100-1200CAD.
This includes the monitor, so i guess 900-1000$ for hardware. I already have OS
Looking for gaming, video editing and some other stuff.
I would probably go with AMD due to budget.

Any recommendations?

+1, nice build.

The Phenom II 940 upgrade is worth it if you play FSX or GTA4 or do lots of video editing or like to run several things in parallel. Otherwise, the money is better spent on the HD 4870/790X upgrade IMO.

I don't like that Seagate upgrade. The price is nice, the speed is excellent (105MB/s, it beats the WD 640GB by 5 MB/s), but the drive has unreliable firmware. I'm not buying Seagate until they fix their firmware bugs.
