I have a GA-EP45-UD3P system board and I just noticed that in BIOS I don't have listed the entries for CPU Multi-Threading and Virtualization Technology. I have an Intel Q9650 Quad CPU so it seems I should be given these entries to configure. I know via the manual that some entries in BIOS don't show up based on your CPU type, but a quad core should get the two I'm missing, I would think. Does anyone know why this would happen and what I could do to resolve the problem? I've already tried reseting CMOS with a jumper, that didn't help. Should I try flashing the BIOS? Also, I noticed that pinned at the top of the forum is a list of latest BIOS files. Are these beta BIOS entries? My board came with FB BIOS and that is what shows as the latest on Gigabytes web site. Thanks for any help.

"Multi-Threading" is probably just applicable to much older CPUs, back from when it was a novelty, not a given...
You definitely should have "Virtualization Technology", though; what BIOS do you have loaded?
If you could give me a pointer to where that BIOS is, I'd know more - it's not listed on the set of pages I normally use for this stuff - which doesn't surprise me, GB's web support is, well, plainly weird!
Well - pretty much no use - the forum's is in German! My best guess - post a question to LSDmeasap (or Janus Yeh, the GB 'tech-rep') at TweakTown:
http://forums.tweaktown.com/f69 He seems to be well 'hooked in' to this sort of stuff...
