So I tried to squeeze my GTX 295 in my Antec P183 with the optional VGA fan installed, and it wouldn't fit! So instead of just letting my extra fan sit and collect dust, I was determined to use it somewhere somehow! So I did the following, I removed the top hard drive bay, installed the fan on it, and hid it under my DVD rom. The entire front of the P183 is perforated, so there is fresh air coming through the top of the case, but does anyone think it'll be effective? I'm waiting on a few parts before I can build it, so I just put the case+psu+fans together, and brainstorming silly ideas. What do you guys think?
also if u think this is a bad idea and i should remove it...do u think i should keep an empty hard drive tray in the front intake fan to help it "funnel" the fresh air in?

I have a P182, which is very similar to your case. I left the middle HDD cage in because I didn't think it was necessary to take it out. I think the fan on top is fine if it's solid and not hitting anything. I'd hate for it to come loose and come crashing down on my system. I also upgrade the exhaust fan to a Scythe Ultra Kaze 3K RPM fan. I have it set to 1400RPMs which still moves lots of air as the fan is rated at 133CFM.
