i have a crucial ssd that i am trying to make my os drive.
mobo-gigabyte 790XTA-UD4
OS- Win 7 64bit

when i load the win 7 disc it will not let choose my ssd drive

1. Can you see the SSD in the BIOS?

2. Is the SSD formatted correctly?

yeah i see it in the standard cmos features it sad, ide channel 3 master [C300-CTFDDAC064MAG]
is this a good thing?

^ If you can see it in BIOS that is good. Now, MAKE SURE you are in AHCI mode and NOT IDE.

Thanks for all of your guys help, but i find what was wrong i used a hhd erase progarm
and plugged it back in and now is loading windows 7.
