I cant access my seagate 1 5 terabyte

Hello, My promblem is I plub my Seagate 1.5tb into my computer and cant access it. I can open up the seagate manager but the hard drive comes up as Unknown. I have no idea what the issue is any help?

Have you tried Disk Management (Start -> right-click "Computer" & select "Manage -> click "Disk Management" in the left pane).

If the drive shows up in the LOWER portion of the right pane but there is no partition on it then you just need to right-click it, create a volume and format it. This will erase all data on the drive, so don't do it if you have data you want to keep.
