Hi all,

I'm building a new gaming rig for my uncle with an Intel core i7 920 processor. I posted the list before and most people approved, but now after reading up about C0 and D0 stepping, I'm worried the RAM I ordered might make the system unstable. I read that the 920 only supports DDR3 800 or 1066, but the 6gigs I ordered were DDR3 1333.

The Processor:

The RAM:

The MOBO:

So will this work out right? Am I going to have to fiddle with the BIOS a bit?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

It should work fine. My co-worker has the same setup IIRC,

No problem. The 1333 is the max supported speed for that RAM, running it at a lower speed is no problem at all.
