hi,

i'm looking at a i7 920 system on a gigabyte ga-ex58-ud3r m/b.

this system will be used for video editing (sony vegas).

i would like to run 3 monitors with independent displays - 2 for program, one for video output.

i don't know if any video card will support 3 outputs at the same time?

if not, i'm looking for a cheap (no gaming or high end matrox) nvidia board with 2 x dvi outputs (do NOT want vga to dvi converter), i need digital on both, and a second card that will simply output video (rgb, hdmi, whatever), and will play nicely with the first card.

any suggestions?

many thanks,

leslie

You can hook up two monitors per video card.
You need two video cards.
