Cruzer 32GB Worked Fine, Now Asking To Format /Insert Disk

Just bought Sandisk Cruzer 32GB this week, loaded it with 16GB of crucial files, from now failed HD, worked fine for a day, now asking to format disk and/or insert disk in removable disk.
I cannot afford to lose the data on this flash drive. Environment is WIndows 7, 64 Bit, on a fresh Dell Studio 1555 Laptop.
Please Help
