does NVIDIA PhysX driver Increase FPS in games? i was wondering that since i don't have it installed and I'm going to
download it.

I have a GTX 260 Core 216 SC, how much increase (FPS) will i get with Physix and how does it work?

No Physx does not increase frame rate. it decrease the frame rates instead as GPU has more data to process now. Anything above 60 or 75 frame rate depending on your LCD monitor is useless as monitor can't display due to lower refresh rate. It only adds more realistic physx effect in games. here a example for you.

but list of games supporting physx is not that big.

personally I would rather have more physx effect with 60 frames instead of have 100 frame rate with minimal effect. Geforce 260 is good card you should be able to play most games with physx enabled. Just install the latest drivers from Nvidia website and select physx effects in games that support it.

does Nvidia Physix make a significant increase in physics or i will hardly noticed the graphical increase? is it worth it?

Yes. I have only a 9800GTX+ and I can see the difference :)

Just played mass effect and the particle effects are beautiful!

It's about time that those over-used calculation routines would take thiers rightful place inside a chip and not get stuck in software lib's ending up burdening the CPU, unused fps won't fill anybody's belly so might as well use the cards' brain power for something useful.
I am bliss :)
