How do you proxy hulu

I'm stuck in an airport and they blocked hulu. Never tried to use a proxy before but i have managed to get to hulu's page. problem is when i click a video i just get a black box where the video should be.

At this point i'm more annoyed i can't figure it than wanting to watch video.

The thing is the proxy will "proxy" the HTTP request/reply, but once the video player loads, it still tries to connect directly to the source, not through the proxy.

Proxies hang on the flash player and java. To do this you need a personal VPN. I use it all the time for watching US content from overseas.
