how do you rate the new Intel core 2 solo processor? Should i expect slower performance?

what new core 2 solo? i don't think intel's even made those things since 2007. and what are you comparing it to? regardless its going to be very slow.

Huh? Ill bet its pretty speedy compared to a Pentum4. Or compared to Atom.

I was reading the core 2 solo is a new processor with post pentium efficiency and performance targeting new laptops:

IME the duo's give you 50% more during normal usage, maybe 70% more for some things like compiling and media encoding.
I'd really like to see them added to the Tom's performance charts! :whistle:
