I'm thinking about building a system similar to the $600 portable gaming rig from Tom's May 09 article. However, I'd rather stick the components in a tower as small as possible, but it good cooling to allow for a healthy OC.

If possible, I don't want to have to spend a lot of money and asthetics aren't critical... I don't need it to look like some sort of futuristic peice of computing furnature.

Cheap and very functional. Easy to work with and can fit a full size Radeon 3870 and multiple hard drives. Great cooling solution for a Micro. I paid about $20, but for $29 it's hard to beat. This case is a great space saver solution for me.

Fry's.com has the antec sonata designer case for $79.95 with free shipping. The link is posted at slickdeals.net. You might think this case is too fancy for you, but the 500w power supply included makes it a good deal. It's a quiet case and ps. If you don't need a ps, then the antec 300 is only $49.99 with free shipping.

the Antec Sonata is a ATX case, not Micro-ATX, but I appreciate the recommendation!

Fry's in stores only has the cooler master elite 360 which is a small micro or atx hybrid case for $29.99 after rebate. It can sit upright or flat.
