It has less than an inch of space to pull air from, but I don't turn it past medium speed settings, and it's a fairly small fan. (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835192007)

I have a 8800GT w/ an accelero S2 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835186017) attached. Then I have an exhaust fan under those (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835888602), close to the base. And that only leaves the bottom PCI slot to put my sliding-rail fan in, pointed at the end of the card. So I think it has some good airflow (50C idle, 76C load on Furmark), but I'm wondering if both of the fans are needed. When I had only the Accelero S2 attached to the card and nothing else, Furmark was getting the temps 90C+, which is scary to me. (I have a nice 550W PSU, so I'm not too worried about that, but how much does it cost to operate additional slot fans, in terms of electricity usage?) Any advice would be appreciated.
