Do you have to use the same brand of card to make Crossfire work? I currently have a HIS branded 1 GB 4870 card and wondered if I could use a different branded card such as Sapphire with different cooling and it still work. As long as its a the same memory size and type will it work? Thanks for your input. Also I just upgraded my mouse to a Razer Lachesis phantom white mouse at 4000 dpi and love it. Had a 1st gen Razer copperhead from 2005. I recommend it!

As long as it's 4870 then it'll work.

Yes it`ll work but do n`t use a 512 Mb card, you`ll lose half the memory of the 1Gb card if you do.

That's a very clean looking desktop setups you have there!

I have the Razer, the same mouse pad, and the G15 keyboard. Is that a mac keyboard ? I can't tell what it is.

As long as its the same chip a 4870 then it will be fine. You do need a 1Gb card really though.

Its a slim aluminum apple keyboard, $50 at Best Buy or Apple store. Ive had it for about 6 months and love it! I wanted to do all white so it worked out.

I never would have thought of using an Apple keyboard for a PC.
