That should take care of the Virus and automatically re-flash the EEPROM on the HDD. Then bring it home and plug it in to the PC. That should now get detected by the BIOS. m 0 l d1rtyju1c3 October 10, 2010 11:52:43 PM Is it recognized in the OS? If it is you can use a program called RECUVA to recover any important files. m 0 l Related resources Dead hard drive or virus? - Forum virus found, hard drive ...dead? - Forum New hard drive purchase worth it on my build due to suspected virus? - Forum How to remove virus fro USB External Hard Drive - Forum Need feedback - dead laptop - using Hard Disk Drive on new computer - Forum Can't find your answer ?
