Have virus hard drive dead

I have a virus, now hard drive is not recognized by bios. Any hope of recovery

  1. Yeah, take it to your local doctor. Then run it through their X-ray machine. That should take care of the Virus and automatically re-flash the EEPROM on the HDD. Then bring it home and plug it in to the PC. That should now get detected by the BIOS.
  2. Is it recognized in the OS? If it is you can use a program called RECUVA to recover any important files.
  3. I just used RECUVA on a HDD that had the click of death and recovered everything even things that had been deleted in the past.

    No, it is not recognized. I installed it as a slave, still not seen. I had it cloned but I'd like to salvage the drive
