Formatting Flash Disk

To format it through command prompt, run the command prompt:
go "Start" button then "Run..." and type "cmd". When in
cmd prompt type "format (drive letter of Flash Media):"
Windows Vista and 7 go "Start" then in the search box type "cmd".

For more commands(switches) initially type "format /?" this gives available options

*Important* In all stated here do not type the quotation marks.
