My WD scores 5.9!!1

Hi, i got this HD http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136073
which is supposed to be a good drive but it scores 5.9 in windows while everything else score 7.4 or 7.5, so i wonder why?
and i wonder if there's a sata 3G hard drive that is faster than this and scores higher

Nope, 5.9 is very good. in fact its the highest score a mechanical hard drive can get.

WEI is generally pointless anyway. its a waste of time. but 5.9 is the cap applied to make sure SSDs dont get scored lower than HDDs (which would expose the flaws of WEI)

run a real speed test, not WEI.

i've tried the wd like for my lifetime but the seagate doest look bad and better price 2!!

The link that you provided for Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 ST31000333AS shows that its a re-certified HDD.
STAY FAR FAR Away, cause its got only 90 days warranty.
Don't trust that one with your data.
