If there isn't a slot in between two cards, will the airflow be sufficient for the top card?

Edit: This is assuming each graphics card takes up two slots

If we are assuming that the GPU Cards take up two slots you should still have room for each card they are usually good about spacing.

As far as airflow goes if the cards take up 2 lots it usually takes up the 2ed slot to vent air straight out of the case so i wouldn't worry about it

Odds are the top card will run warmer with an open slot, and generally even warmer with no open slot.

If you're using adjacent pairs of slots, its pretty important to select cards that exhaust much of their own heat out of the case. Probably a good idea even if there's a slot in between.
