Do I have to have WMP 10 to synchronize audio file with my device, or I can
do it also with WMP 9?
And how can I do if I have Windowsw 2000, hence I cannot install WMP 10?

WMP9 will synchronise with the majority of devices (though you kept it
a secret what device you're using !)
WMP10 is only needed for devices which need the newer MTP (media
transfer protocol) which can query the device capabilities and
transcode (convert) content to a format it can definitely handle. This
class of devices includes portable media centers like the Creative and
Samsung PMC's.

Yes, you can't install WM10 on 2000 (and sadly, neither can I :-p)

Neil, thank you for the answer.
Can you also tell me if for HP iPAQ 2210 I need WMP 10?
On my iPAQ there is WMD 9 as well on my PC and it works to copy the files on
the device itself, but it does not copy them to the SD card :-(

It might help to try this : Create a folder on the storage card called
\My Documents\Music
Does it work now to sync from WMP ? I've only seen this listed as an
iPAQ problem, most other PPCs you can copy across to the SD card from
media player. If it still doesn't work, your options are :
1) Use ActiveSync and windows explorer ("Mobile Device" ) to copy the
desired files yourself
2) Use a SD card reader to copy the desired files yourself (*much*
faster than 1 - usually you can fill a 256MB SD card in 2 minutes)
