D0 stepping BIOS support

Effectively, you can't be sure that the mobo will ship with a BIOS that supports the D0 stepping. But, given that the GIGABYTE GA-EX58-UD4P is popular mobo and stock is always turning over (especially if you order from Newegg), the chances are pretty good that it will ship with the latest BIOS version. Typically, it is the lesser selling mobos that ship with an older BIOS or older PCB version. My opinion is that Gigabyte turns over enough of those mobos to load them with a BIOS version that supports D0 given that there are very few, if any, C0 stepping i7's left in retail stock. Unfortunately, you may just have to wait until you recieve your parts to find out.

If it ships with a BIOS version that does not supports D), the only option is to "borrow" or purchase a C0 proc and then update the BIOS.

Good luck!
