I need to know if my dell xps 410 model wich came with a dvd/cd reader is equipped with sata wireing so that I may install a dvd/cd burner.Or does the system only have wireing for ide? And how would I go about installing it?

Open it up and look.....you simply plug it in and put it in the place of the reader.

I have an xps 410 and they come with the sata wiring for the cd/dvd drive and you should have an extra drive bay to install a second burner.

It's a sata only system, no ide.
