Power supply will not turn off

Hello,ive seen this question all over the net and i havent found a solution yet.I just went out and bought a new psu at best buy to install in my computer.the only problem is when i try to shutdown,i keep getting stuck at the shutdown screen and my computer stays on.i have to hold the power button in for 6 seconds or flip the switch on the psu.Help?and on note..i tested 8 more psu's,4 with no switch,4 with a switch.guess what?the ones without the switch shutdown fine,the ones with a switch did not.

Strange. I have never seen that problem with a properly functioning PSU. Currently I have a Corsair 750TX, Antec 550 and 650 watt TP3's, and a couple of inexpensive Coolmax's - all with power switches on the back.
