Hello,
I just bought a new i7 1366 for a build. I was wondering what to do with that terrible (no offense if you use it) stock cooler. I wanted to put it on my old Dell (socket 775), but thatt didn't work. Is there any way to modify it so that it fits 775? I already have a corsair cooler so its not actually going on the i7. I don't really have the heart to throw it away, but I can't think of anything to do with it.
For those of you with i7's and aftermarket coolers, what do you do with them?

Keep it for an emergency. Something might happen to the fan and you wont want to go without a computer for days (provided you buy online like most of us here) until the new fan is delivered. Even if you don't like the fan it should be good...
