So, I have had this Dell XPS 720 since 2007...I never really bothered doing anything to it simply because I didn't require anything more than what I got from it...I'll be building a new computer soon, but may wait for the BD and sandy bridge processors to debut to finish building..I tried to see if oc the cpu was feasible, but it appears as though the bios are locked..or rather, Dell has disabled the ability to tamper with the cpu...I just wanted to know if there is a way around this? Help would be greatly appreciated because if I can get a bit more out this xps I can put off building a new cpu for a while.

I don't think you can overclock on an OEM motherboard. I could be wrong.
