Hey everyone, I have finally finished my complete set up for my first build. I'm building an I7 machine and wanted to post it one last time before I purchase all of the parts tomorrow to see if anyone had any last advice or thoughts for me on anything about this system. I would reallllly appreciate any thoughts and/or advice! One thing I just noticed is I have not chosen a CD/DVD Driver. Any suggestions for that as well would be great!

Here is the build:

CPU: Intel I7 920
Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-EX58-UD5
Graphics Card: Gefore GTX 295
Memory: OCZ Platinum 6GB (3 x 2GB)
Hard Drive: (x2 for Raid 0)Western Digital 640GB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache
PSU: CORSAIR CMPSU-850TX 850W
Case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811103019
Aftermarket Cooling for CPU: COOLER Master V8 (I plan on OC'ing the CPU)

Might as well get the newer WD Caviar Black 640GB with 32mb cache opposed to 16mb. $5 difference, but they have a 5 year warranty opposed to 3, on Newegg at least.

Also OCZ Platinum is cheaper and faster then the gold. And for that matter This OCZ is much cheaper, faster, and has a lower voltage rating. Assuming you chose 1333. If not, still check around for better deal on the ram.

You can save $20 with a 750TX if you will stick with a single GTX 295. For two of them nVidia has only certified 3 PSUs so far, all of them 1200W, so the 850TX wouldn't be enough anyway.

You can save $30 with this Xigmatek cooler

Battlemarz - Thanks so much for noticing that on the Hard Drives I switched to the ones you recommended! I do plan on runing my ddr3 at 1600 but I'll definately shop for some better prices now that you say that. Thanks!

AEVM - I switched to the 750W as you recommended I would love to save any money that I dont need to spend! I also am gonna use the DVD drive you recommended. Also, I am going to buy the BFG GTX 295. Thanks!
