I am in the process of building a new computer. My main concern right now is with the Case/PSU I want something that is quiet, keeps my components cool, and has enough juice to power them. Here is what I am looking at right now

Case/PSU Combo: Antec Sonata Plus 550 Black/ Silver Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case 550W Power Supply - Retail Item #: N82E16811129037
CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 940 Deneb 3.0GHz Socket AM2+ 125W Quad-Core Black Edition Processor Model HDZ940XCGIBOX - Retail
GPU: SAPPHIRE 100258-1GL Radeon HD 4850 1GB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card - Retail
Memory: G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F2-8500CL5D-4GBPK - Retail
HDD: Western Digital Caviar Black WD7501AALS 750GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - OEM
Mobo: GIGABYTE GA-MA790GP-UD4H AM2+/AM2 AMD 790GX HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard - Retail Item #: N82E16813128384

My primary concern with the case is that on some of the reviews it says it does not have enough room for some video cards. I am additionally worried about the cooling capacity of the case, and would like to know if anyone has any opinions of the PSU that comes with it (ANTEC NeoPower 550W)

Thanks for any advice

Hi,
Can't answer your questions specifically, but I did a recent build with the Antec Solo, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129018&Tpk=antec%20solo which is really exceptional. It is very, very quiet (has suspension cord HD mounts) and runs cool. Had plenty of room for my videocard. Was easy to work in. Did not include PSU, though, so no experience with the Antec power.
Hope this helps.

If your really worried about room, and you have the money, as you just showed.. a $159.99

Get the Coolermaster sniper and a nice 550w or are you looking for a case that comes with a psu

If anything, I would get teh RC-690/ Antec 300 and a Corsair 650w Single 12vrail PSU to leave the Crossfire open.

or the Antec 300.

with the 650tx.

Really recommend the 650tx for the price that has dropped so much in price

The antec sonata is a nice classy case .

You will have no problem fitting a 4850 . The 4840 is not as long as the mb is wide , and the space issue is that the hard drive cages are in the space a long graphics card would need it its longer than the mb is wide .

Antec make decent power supplies too . That one is fine
