I am stupid. I accidentally clicked to reconfigure my RAID 1 partition on a Western Digital My Book Studio II and I need to get some files back. It's running on OS X 10.6.4, HFS+ formatting, and was set to RAID 1. Somehow, I accidentally clicked the wrong button on the Drive Manager software and now the drive is showing up as a freshly formatted disk. DOH!

Is this possible or even easy to recover from? Is it something I could attempt myself with the appropriate software or do I need to pay out the ass for a service? Any recommendations?

Thanks in advance.

TestDisk worked for me, and it's free. Be sure to the read the wiki, especially the example.
