Dsn connection repair

My girlfriend's computer has started working intermetintly, when she tries to go on the internet. The diagnostics tell her she has no dsn connection. Is there some way to fix this.

Try this:
Click Start, All Programs, Accessories, CMD Prompt
Enter these three commands, pressing enter key or click ok
after each command:

ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
