I purchased some years back a DirectTV system that has two receivers. I will be
temporarily be living in Florida and wonder if I were to take one of the
receivers and a new dish down to Florida, would I be able to use this there
without purchasing a second account?
Thanks for your help...

Don't connect a phoneline to it, or order any PPVs, it will work AOK as
long as you don't let them know.

Technically, yes.
But you will have to set it up yourself, the bills will still be
sent to the original location, and no pay per view.

It should work, but depending on far you are moving you may not be
able to receive your local channels since they are on a spot beam and
are only available in about a 100-200 mile radios. You won't receive
the Florida channels either since you are not authorized to receive
them.
