I am going to install a new graphic card, a new ram - will be 2 G, new raid hard drives - will be 1.5 T mirrored and a power supply on this lenovo desktop computer.

I'm not sure but I think that processor will bottleneck the video card. If I were you I will get the 4850 512mb which is $100 for that monitor.
