Hi, I recently downloaded Speedfan to check up on my temperatures, as the fans where starting to get a bit noisy, so I suspected some probable overheating. My CPU is an E8500@3.16ghz. My CPU temp. was around 40 idle and then 50-65 at load, adn the core 0 + 1 temps were usually around 50. So I decided my PC needed a clean, so I cleaned the CPU fan this morning and I noticed a great change in my CPU temp, it usually drops down to 30-40 idle and goes to about 50 at load. But the core temps 0 + 1 alwyas seem to remain around 50-51. Is this normal?

So, according to that, 50c on a Q8300 is OK? If yes, you just answered my thread!

Thanks!
