First OC bit worried about +12v

Hey so i've just overclocked my q6600 to 3ghz, all seems well however when checking speedfan the 12v rail is very low.. however in pc wizard it seems better. I have literally no knowledge when it comes to voltages so if someone can explain

Hi.

Use HWMonitor, if you get a good read (12.xxV) is a speedfan's bug, nothing to worry about.

If you want confirm more, use everest or a multimeter.

If SpeedFan was accurate, your system wouldn't boot.

Like saint suggested, use a multimeter to verify the voltage. Simplest and safest place to check is between the yellow and black wires on one of the molex power connectors.

Just wondering if this could be connected to the overclock or my psu, basically when i boot up, the fans and lights turn on for about 5 seconds, then it turns its self off and reboots its self like a second later and works fine. Its quite worrying and i dont know how to check what could be causing it.

^Test the rig with another PSU, if you don't get the same problem is time for a new PSU.

problem is at the moment im at uni, so I dont have access to another psu. The psu is under a year old, cause i had to RMA my old one its a Corsair tx650, and i'd hope i wouldnt have to send it off again, took like 2 weeks before
