I recently got a good deal from amazon by getting a 1gb 4670 for $80.00 (but it is finished now I think )and realized that the memory clock is lower than that of the
512mb version. (1 gb= MHz)
(512=2000Mhz)
At a resolution of 1440*900 would the 1 gb still give me more frames per second in games such as Crysis World in Conflict and Call of Duty 4.

First off, you didn't say how many MHz the 1GB model was. Also you should consider the price difference. But as I'm sure the memory clock is not that different, (And you can easily OC the 1GB to the same as the 512MB) even at a resolution of 1440x900 the 1GB will most likely give you better performance, most noticeably in apps like Photoshop.

Sorry about that.
