My CPU seems more stable with a lower Vcore

I had issues when gaming becuase my games would crash and i also had fairly high temps. I had my Q6600 at 1.3 and dropped it down to 1.15 and now it seems more stable?, i have 780i Mobo

The obvious answer would to be get better cooling for your Q6600. Blow dust and replace TIM etc.
Q6600 runs fairly cool (relatively) @stock vcore which is <1.325v

That's probably due to overheating.
