Compaq Presario c500 screen resolution problem

Hello everyone...

Can anyone help me about my EVER problem in my laptop...
I reformatted almost a year ago... and then i notice that my screen resolution has changed.

The model of my laptop is Compaq Presario c500...
The screen resolution(max), as what all sites tells me, should be 1280 x 800... but mine is 1024x768...

Should I install something or what?
Help me please...

Install the Intel Graphics drivers from the Laptop CD or download them from HP.com if you haven't already done so.
