Nobody can really help you if you don't specify budget. Also, is it mainly for games?

Why don't you check out Tomshardware's graphics card roundups?

In a few months (nobody's sure) new graphics cards will be released. The HD4770 was released using 40nm which uses much less power per performance than any other card. It is expected that a higher performing card from ATI is not too far off. Nobody's sure what's going on with NVidia releasing new cards.

My advice is to wait a couple months.

This system is for gaming & the budget is about $1200

please note that the motherboard in Egypt costs $382 & the case $144.Also,the gaming resolution is 1280*1024 max because my monitor doesn't support higher resolutions

Sorry for incomplete information as this is my first thread(CPU is i7 920 $310 in Egypt)

You have given the specs of a very powerfull gaming system which is far in excess of 1280x1024, either think about getting a big 26-30 inch monitor to use the performance or spend a lot lot lot less and get a mid-range C2D, p45 mobo with hd4870 and game at 1280x1024 on your existing monitor.
