Hello all. I am opening this thread to find out which graphics card I should get. I want a graphics card that can run Left 4 Dead, Call of Duty 4 : Modern Warfare, and possibly Call of Duty : World at War. This graphics card should be able to run the game well in fps, not crazy though, maybe almost all settings on max, not all. If you maybe, the price of the card should be within $60.00 - $100.00

My computer specs are:

Intel Core 2 Duo 4300@ 1.80ghz
2 gb ram
Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition SP 2
My PSU is 375 watts
& My current graphics card is an nVidia Geforce 7300 le 512mb

I went on another forum, gamespot, and they said that this card would be good enough : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121274

I am worried though because they say it can run it at a 375 watt psu, and reviews for it say that the fan begins to act after a short amount of time. So if guys may, please tell me which graphics card I should get or if that graphics card is good enough.

- Thank You

That card is a good chioce for your system, it was designed for low-power PSUs` and a more powerful card would be wasted because of the fairly weak CPU.
There are plenty of other HD4670 cards around, if you do n`t like this one, then simply buy one that looks better to you.

Tom's delivers the answer
http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/radeon-geforce-gtx,2270-2.html

the 4670 has a 128 bit bus, the 9600 has a 256 bit bus for $15 more.

here's another decent 4670, with a full 1 GB of memory. $90 though.

i don't know which 9600 to recommend. usually one of them stands up and gets rave reviews at Newegg, but not right now.

I'd certainly go with the 9600 GT, these cards are rock solid and will give you fine FPS in all the games mentioned. It'd probably outperform the 4670, for a mere 15 dollars.
