hi,

Have just built up a new machine using the M4A79T Deluxe but i am unable to get it to boot. The lights come on for the on-board power and reset swithes but when either are pressed i don't get any response, no fan spin no diag bleeps.

I'm using a Cooler Master Silent Pro M 500w PSu and 4gb Cosiar Dominator DDR3 ram.

Does anyone have any suggestions that might help me out?

Are you sure everything is connected properly? The power and reset diode should not be on all the time. The mobo might be shorted, try it outside the case(put it flat on a phonebook or something)

Thanks MaDMagik, turns out I had a spare standoff slighty undone and it must have been touching the board somewhere and causing a short. Thanks for you help!
