Buying a new monitor, i like games also + big res

I have been using a chunky monitor [think its called a crt monitor] for a while now and will replace this soon now as its been too long. i am able to play at 1600*1200 though i think my 8800 gts 640mb could actually handle more and maybe cos of the monitor i got it cant?

Can any1 recommend a good monitor for me, i like games and watching vidz online also if this helps. £200 would be just about what id be willing to spend.

p.s- cos i custom designed my pc in oct'07. couldnt get cash together for monitor when was making new system. I have to replace this as soon as i can really.

Speakers and other things had missed out on also, had thought of getting the z5500 speaker setup also when poss.
