DVD-RW not erasing or burning

My Dvd-rw discs that have things burned on them won't erase or add anything, the discs are in great condition, and it's always at about 92% that it says the erase wizard couldn't finish erasing the disc due to some error.

Check the power and data cable connections to the motherboard and the ODD. If they are securely attached properly, your ODD may have reached its end of life.
