I am painting the case of my main machine, but in the mean-time i am using a Compag SR5310F. I maxed the RAM out and put an ATI HD 3870 card inside along with an Antec 350 Watt PSU. Here are the full specs:
Intel Pentium Dual Core E2140 1.6GHz CPU
2GB DDR2 5300 RAM
250GB SATA 7200 RPM HDD
Onboard Sound
ATI HD 3870 Video Card
Antec 350 Watt PSU
DVD+-RW Drive
D-Link Wireless-N WIFI
Additonal 80mm Case Fan
About a month after I installed the card, I decided to look at the box and ATI recommends at least a 450watt PSU. I went on http://www.antec.outervision.com/PSUEngine, plugged in all of my specifications, even put the system load at 100%, and the recommended wattage is still only 234. So, am I ok here with a 350? Is that Antec site accurate?
