Which Mobo for my new build?

Hi all.

I'm currently building a AMD based computer.

I already choose a Phenom II X3 720 (BE) CPU. My doubt now is the motherboard. Because of money constraints I'm limited to choosing a 780G based moherboard (also, the 790's doesn't offer that much from the 780G).

I'm trying to choose between a Asus - M3A78-EM ora Gigabyte - any kind of MA78G.

Which one should I get? I've read a lot of info about the mobos and while Asus has some compatibility issues with memory sticks and a worst audio code, Gigabyte's are hotter and have some bios problems? Newegg reviews of course didn't help that much.

Can someone give me reasons why not to choose a particular mobo?

Thanks.

After looking at all the boards, I'd go with the Gigabyte 770v out of any 780g or 770v choices. Cheap, feature complete, good reviews, full size ATX board, realtek audio.

Hotter motherboard? I don't think this is an issue if it is in fact true.
BIOS problems? Not sure about this either.

Thanks for the replies.

But I don't live in the States (Europe actually) and prices here are somewhat different. Besides, not all boards are easily found (For instance, in my country I could only found one Foxonn mobo with this chipset for sale, in only one store...)

I was planning to go 780g because it's a lot cheaper than 770v+GPU (even if I bought the cheapest I could find) I don't plan do any gaming so 780G is the way to go. The fact is that the are a lot of reviews from the GB boards and barely any about the M3A78-EM (or the M3A78-PRO). Does anyone actually bought one of these boards?

Well AMD designed 780G as a budget chipset and this was evident when the 125W TDP Phenom X4 9850BE came out and most 780G couldn't run that chip. However via my DIY experience and facts there are a few 780G notably from Asus, MSI and Gigabyte that do run 125-140W TDP quads no issues and here are the known candidates:

MSI K9A2GM-FIH HDMI 780G
Gigabyte GA-MA78GM-S2H
Asus M3A78-EM

but for a bit more i would hit the best IGP mobo for the green IMO

Biostar TA790GX XE

Have been building a few mATX rigs and hows 3.6 on stock volts/hsf sound for the P2X4 940BE on that mATX 790GX? :p
Edit: If you have no interest of moving out or changing that 95W P2X3 720BE just get a 780G with a BIOS to run Phenom 2 :p

That's my idea. However wich one? Asus or Gigabyte? And are all those Gigabyte models the same?
