Core i7 Build

Hello,

I am looking at building a core i7 system; I currently have a old Pentium 4 processor that has seen it time. This will be my first attempt at building a new computer; below I have listed the possible spec for the i7. I was wondering what your opinions are on the following spec and if it can be improved in anyway....
I will mostly be using the computer for games, surfing the net and general work

Look at the s1283 cooler aswell with the 1366 retention bracket and the arctic cooling mx-2 thermal compound.


And, will you be looking to crossfire later on? because that 650tx will only be able to power that 1 gpu, you will need s 700w seasonic or 750tx, better yet the 850tx + rc-690 case combo.
