My comp was working fine. Suddenly 3 days back while working on it the screen became wavey and then display stopped. I rebooted the machine but still the same problem "No signal".
I have a ASUS A8N VM motherboard.
Any solution to my problem? The machine is receiving power and so is the monitor.

Have you tried an alternate graphics card? Also have you tried another cable. Its entirely possible there's something wrong with the display out on the motherboard or a problem in the cable.

Display card is onboard. I am a newbie. Can you explain what cable?
