I currently use a 2.5 SATA 8Mb 54OOrpm drive in my three years old Asus f3jc laptop. Can I replace the existing drive by 7200rmp 16Mb knowing that the cache and rpm are much higher?
Does it depend on my mother board or something?

Thanks in advance, Carl.

Thanks for your qucik reply, I'll settle for a bigger GB drive for now as my laptop actually rarely leave my desk!
