Hi, I'm wondering if anyone out there can suggest the
best way to download music on to my iPAQ PDA.
I've already downloaded/transfered 5-6 songs from my
Microsoft Windows Media Player to my iPAQ but it appears
I've run out of room and these few alone took up 24 MB.
Should I convert my songs to MP3? If so, can you suggest
how I go about doing this?

Get an SD card.

3 things:
Use your current wma format rather than mp3- around half the bitrate is
equivalent to an mp3 meaning you use around half the storage space (or
get twice as many songs in the same space) at the same quality.
You don't say what bitrate you used- commonly 128bps mp3 is used which
is around 64 in wma format. The higher the bitrate the bigger the music
file is, but use your ears to decide the best rate for your needs.
You could always try a storage card for your music.
