PC Pure Extreme Cool

So I bought some PC PURE Extreme Cool at Microcenter today. Got it home and opened the bottle and it REEKS. Smells like rotten eggs - this can't be normal. Anyone familiar with this product?

You're better off running simple distilled water and some PTnuke and a killcoil in your loop. Those coolants are overrated...they don't perform any better than plain water, and have particulate matter that can gunk up your gear.

Appreciate the uick response. I am running distilled water now - trying some other options to keep me occupied. Would really appreciate if anyone can tell me if the rotten egg smell is normal - or indicative of coolant degradation.

yes it's normal,some coolant additives smell bad,was playing around with Water Wetter not that long ago and it smell like you know what

I've never used that; only used the Swiftech Hydrx and some Feser1 (briefly) then flushed it after about a month. Personally, I like how solid white looks...and you get a better UV glow. Even colored tubing reacts better in most cases than UV coolant.
