I recently bought a hp dx2390 microtower pc.For about three days ago my pc went blank and the advice I have so far received is that i need to flash my bios.
which type of utility can I use?

The last thing you would need to do is flash your BIOS.
More detail please, could be any one of a hundred different things, but definetly not flashing your BIOS.

Agree with jit. You never, never flash your BIOS until you know why you need to.

If you recently bought an HP computer, and you have not upgraded it, and something is wrong; you need to troubleshoot the problem. That preassembled computer was tested with the BIOS in it.
