Using Laptop DVD drive for PC

I have a PC, the DVD drive of which is not working. Is there any way I can use the DVD drive of laptop for my PC ? (Additional equipment which I have which *MAY* be of help is a router)

So if you asking whether you can share your DVD drive of your laptop within Windows, then yes you can do that. It would be like any other shared network device.

This is not a workable solution for gaming and watching movies, etc, for example because you would be pulling all of the info from the laptop through the network to the PC.

Your best option is to spend $30 and just get a new DVD drive for your PC and install yourself. Pretty much a no-brainer to do.
