SSD - The Performance Upgrade of the Future
Hello, I have an Asus P5Q-Digital Home Deluxe motherboard with an Intel Core Duo E5400 CPU @ 2.7GHz. The thing is that Everest Ultimate, which is monitoring various hardware temperatures, is reporting CPU Temp at 20C when PC is idle. Is that even possible?
Are you in a really cold room? Try out coretemp or Realtemp and see what they say.
As I said, room temperature is about 28C (not what you'd call cold). Asus Probe and Speedfan both report the same temperature 20C for CPU. Here are the Realtemp screen:
20C is not the correct sensor. Trust what realtemp says.
So I guess it has to do with the usual "CPU vs Core temp" issue then?
